Why do I need to complete my profile?

The information provided on your profile is important and essential for Alix to adapt the exercise levels according to your age, weight and heart rate. Your experience on the application will be optimized once your profile is completed.

Health program

Do I have to be a subscriber to subscribe to a health program?

Yes, the health programs offered by Alix are exclusively accessible to subscribed members.

How to subscribe to a health program from the Alix application?

Once your registration is validated and your connection is complete, you have access to the configuration of your account. You are invited to choose a Health Goal. Click on the health program of your choice then subscribe. You will be redirected to the site https://www.alixforme.com. In just a few clicks, you will be able to subscribe to an Objectif Santé.

How to change your health program?

On the Alix application, go to the profile screen then click on “Change goal” and choose a new health goal from those available. A single subscription allows you to change Objectif Santé as many times as you want.

Personal data

How are my personal data used?

Your personal data belongs to you. Alix only uses your data to adapt your physical activity program to your energy profile and your Health Objective. You can find out more about Alix’s GDPR on: https://www.alixforme.com/policies/privacy-policy

I want to delete my user account.

You can request the deletion of your account by going to https://account.alixforme.com/account-removal/fr by completing the present form.

Once the deletion request is confirmed, the account will be deleted within 48 business hours. All data relating to the account will be irreversibly deleted: session data, user profile, etc.

Equipment

How to remove and/or add equipment?

In the application, go to the profile screen then click on the “Modify” button in the equipment section. You can then select and remove the equipment of your choice.

I listed my equipment, but no exercise used it in my session.

Don't worry, Alix offers you a variety of exercises. These exercises do not necessarily include equipment. Your body alone is also a very good working tool.

Sensors

To use your sensor purchased on www.alixforme.com , we recommend that you refer to the manufacturer's documentation supplied with the sensor, in its original packaging. You will find the best advice there to ensure optimal installation of your sensor and appropriate use throughout its use.

Do I need a sensor to exercise?

You can use the option to practice your physical activity without a sensor available at the bottom of your session configuration screen. However, it is strongly recommended that you have a sensor because your physical activity program adapts to your personal data.

The interpretation of your results by Alix's artificial intelligence takes your physiological data into account. Data from sensors is very important for personalizing and adapting your physical activity program.

Are all sensors compatible with the Alix app?

The Beo Healthcare team constantly tests numerous biometric sensors and integrates the most relevant according to different health objectives to personalize and adapt physical activity sessions for each user according to their own heart rate.

When launching the Alix application; Beo Healthcare offers you the O2Ring connected ring from the manufacturer Viatom Technology and the Verity Sense and H10 sensors from the manufacturer Polar.

Very soon, Alix will offer new sensors including those from the Withings company and those from the Polar company in particular. At Beo Healthcare, we are committed to selecting, testing and offering new quality certified sensors so that your use of Alix is ​​optimal.

My sensor does not turn on.

Check that the sensor is worn and adjusted to your finger if you are using a Viatom O2Ring. The O2Ring sensor sends you a vibration and triggers infrared light when turned on. The Polar sensors are placed on the arm for the Verity Sense and around the waist for the H10 heart rate monitor.

Check that the sensor has battery power (batteries for the Nonin WirstOx2 and battery for the Viatom O2Ring).

Firstly, we recommend checking the battery level. Refer to the technical documentation provided with your sensor and do not hesitate to report any technical problems to our dedicated team: support@alixforme.com.

I cannot configure my sensor.

Make sure your sensor is part of the list of compatible sensors and appears in the list of configured sensors in the Alix app.

Make sure the sensor is worn and turned on. You can check on the sensor screen that the heart rate data is displayed in real time.

Make sure bluetooth permissions are granted on your mobile device for the Alix application. You can check this by going to your mobile device settings / Privacy / Bluetooth, then authorize the use of bluetooth within the Alix application (Note: the procedure to follow from your mobile device settings may be slightly different following the model of the latter).

Make sure your sensor is not connected via bluetooth to another nearby device. Most sensors do not allow multiple connections simultaneously.

Make sure you are attempting to configure the sensor you have. In the Alix application, when configuring a new sensor, you choose the model of the sensor to configure, following this choice, your mobile device only scans the sensors conforming to the desired one. It is impossible to detect another type of sensor during the scan.

If the sensor detection is unsuccessful, check that your sensor is turned on and try searching for a nearby sensor again.

Make sure you are within scanning range (less than 10 meters between the sensor and the phone).

Make sure your device's Bluetooth system is activated.

I cannot connect my previously configured sensor.

Make sure your sensor is sufficiently charged, that you are not sweating too much where the sensor is positioned, or that your body temperature is not too cold or too hot.

Make sure your sensor is properly positioned and turned on. If it measures your heart rate data, it is working correctly.

Make sure bluetooth permissions are granted on your mobile device for the Alix application. Do I have to be a subscriber to do an exercise session?

I don't have all my equipment available for my exercise session, what should I do?

You can go to the profile screen and then modify the equipment you own by removing any that are not currently in your possession. The exercise sessions that you carry out subsequently will be adapted to your new choices.

My exercise sessions are too difficult/too easy for my level, what should I do?

At the end of each session, you can evaluate the level of difficulty of the exercises performed, which will help reinforce the relevance of your sessions.

Stress test

What is the stress test used for?

The stress test allows you to determine your level according to 4 main axes (endurance, power, resistance and balance) which are then used during the generation of sessions to offer you personalized programs adapted to your abilities. It is important to give your best when taking this test.

Can I perform the stress test without a sensor?

Yes, it is possible to perform the stress test without a sensor. On the other hand, the interpretation of the results will be incomplete unlike an exercise test carried out with a sensor.

How often should I repeat a stress test?

Repeating a stress test can be a good indicator of progress. However, it is an intense physical effort, you should not overdo it as it risks tiring you out and not improving. You can repeat an exercise test occasionally after several weeks to measure your progress. If your level changes, the following sessions will be adapted to this new level.

On what basis is my energy profile calculated?

The user's energy profile is determined from the levels reached during the exercise test. The levels (from 1 to 10) of the levels reached are then translated into scores (from 1 to 4) and interpreted by the session generation algorithm to adapt the exercises, speed and training duration. and rest.
